I was listening to a podcast the other day and ‘know your worth’ was put into a different context. It was recommending that entrepreneurs not put their prices up. It was a general business podcast, not industry specific, but went against the consensus in the personal care sector.
The context I’m referring to in the beauty and wellbeing sector about ‘knowing your worth’ is about charging your value and the experience that you provide. Some therapists and stylists haven’t put their prices up in decades, making their cost per service 30% below the market value.
It is important to know your worth in business for several reasons:

Understanding your worth enables you to negotiate better deals, contracts, and salaries. Knowing your value allows you to confidently ask for fair compensation for your products or services.
