84. Transformation Tactics
Feb 17, 2025
We’ve just completed a year long journey of transformation with one of our elevate the executive catalyst coaching clients.
Executive to entrepreneur can be exhausting, exhilarating and emotional. The transitions in mindset, mouth set and heart set are a transformation of their own. Combine that with leaving behind the compensation, benefits and job security packages that have been cultivated as a c-suite leader can make the transition terrifying.
Following one’s own passion, purpose and personal values often outweigh the corporate culture. Statistics say we spend at least 1/3 of our lives at work, so a sense of meaning and daily motivation improves creativity, cadence and control in our personal and professional lives.
Are you looking for straight A’s this year in your life? Crating your own agenda that’s in alignment with your purpose and passion, and having the autonomy to accelerate that action plan?
π₯ Agenda
Many executives that we work with are transitioning to the next level of leadership whether that’s as a corporate executive or an entrepreneurial executive.
Creating your own agenda ensures that you have control and flexibility to generate outcomes, but this can also cause some initial obstacles. One of the biggest our clients face is time management.
Transitioning from the 9-5 to their own more flexible agenda can be difficult. Remember to still put time blocks in your agenda so that your assistant and other team members have time allocated to communicate with you, but also so that you have boundaries in place for your personal life, wellbeing and professional tasks.
π₯ Alignment
Having alignment in your work with meaningful connections and building a network of like-minded empowered professionals. Aligning your interests, values and purpose creates the foundation and freedom to design our destiny.
An Ikigai coaching technique helps our clients find their ‘flow’ when they are at their most creative, inspired and motivated to move mountains towards their masterpiece.
The visionary leadership helps to ensure projects are prosperous, purposeful and have a structure pathway towards excellent endeavours.
π₯ Autonomy
The autonomy to choose their project, the people to collaborate with and the clients they work with offers the freedom many have been craving whilst in a corporate company. The skills learnt during their professional careers helps to spring board their results throughout their reinvention.
Building teams with transparency, structured policies, procedures and communication methods developed through experiencing different levels within a large business and broader perspective elevates their new endeavors.
A study by McKinsey states 70% of employees say their personal sense of purpose is defined by their work.
Defining, articulating and sharing ideas and initiatives inspires collaborations within the community and cross-pollinating ecosystems to contribute and make an impact whilst living their professional legacies.
π₯ ACTion Plan
Many of you in our community know that I LOVE and ACTion Plan and we use this method all the time in our catalyst coaching sessions. Accountability, Cadence and Time support successful strategies through each chapter of our clients lives. Transformation time and tactics also use this method to elevate and empower our executives and entrepreneurs.
