Todays blog is sharing a twist on Jerome McCarthy’s 1960 Marketing Structure - the four P’s 🅿️🅿️🅿️🅿️

Unpredictability up levels company success, that might sound like a counter intuitive statement, especially when you think of well known brands such as Coca Cola and Apple.

Try looking at the statement through a different lens… when I had my residency at the Soho Hotel in London I would walk down Oxford Circus weekly and each week the window displays changed to promote a different product or fashion outfit.

Some brands are now collaborating with super stars and sports stars to launch different collections. These collaborations can be unpredictable, and it brings further awareness and attention to the brand with the shock factor of what’s being launched.

💫 Perspective

The company values in its DNA whilst collaborating with new influencers and embracing a new sustainability strategy - Dermalogica is one of the first skincare brands to have ‘mono material’ product packaging as part of their sustainability campaign. Everything is recyclable and some are even biodegradable. Ethically sourced ingredients and identifying the needs of their consumers.  As a trailblazer in the skincare industry many other brands are now following in its footsteps.

💫 Personality

Shaping and supercharging a company culture - Nike, Facebook and Google started it with their omnichanel and open working environments to promote creativity and inspirational innovation.

Audience advocacy and authenticity are paramount to these company cultures in maintaining and gaining brand followers and loyalty.

Building your personality - foundations of your branding and company culture make marketing your mission statement effortless and the energy maintains its electric current.

A couple questions to reflect on and ask yourself….

❓What does your business represent?

❓What is your company culture?

❓Are the company values represented in your marketing campaigns?

💫 Positivity

Nurturing a growth mindset ensures positivity radiates throughout your business.  Growth is inevitable and being innovative is part of the process. Last year I graduated from Said Business School at Oxford University’s Strategic Innovation Program which taught us timeless techniques to implement and maintain innovation.

The KEY is to Keep Educating Yourself this promotes evolution, inspiration and innovation. Whether that’s with a business mentor or coach to help perpetuate positive external energy in your business and within your team. Learning new techniques keeps ideas and attitudes fresh.

Capture the company spirit through leadership and living your company legacy. Supporting the smile factor within your team promotes a posture of positivity that continues to shape belief systems within your team and company’s community.

💫 Participation

Personality exudes connection creating a deeper relationship and loyalty both in your business and with your clients. It becomes  almost like an ownership as the consumer aligns with the brand values driving advocacy and growth in your business and brand awareness.

💫 Possibility

Personality driven marketplace is a newer marketing concept that encourages participation as the new currency with influencers, social media, posts going viral, anyone can create their own brand and cult following.

The traditional norms of marketing have hit a whole new playing field… it’s time to innovate or retire! Stimulate and inspire a new generation of winning brands in this new wave of modern marketing.
